Retin A Cream

What is Retin A Cream?

Retin A Cream is a skin cream that is used to treat acne, wrinkles, and fine lines. Retin A Cream can help individuals clean out the pores and smooth out facial skin that is rough. This cream, which was approved by the FDA in the 1960s, is only available by the prescription of a doctor.

Retin A Cream exfoliates the skin, removing the trapped dead skin cells, which will stimulate the growth of new skin cells. When dead skin cells are removed, it is harder for acne to form. The pores will be unclogged by drying up excess oil that is forming on the skin.

Fine lines and wrinkles can be reduced when Retin A Cream is used as the cream will help new collagen to form. Applications of Retin A Cream will also help cell turnover speed up, which will not only smooth out the skin but also help with any discolouration of the skin.

What are the benefits of using Retin A Cream?

Using Retin A Cream can have many benefits. While it was originally prescribed by skin specialists for controlling acne, it was quickly discovered that patients using Retin A Cream had softer skin that appeared to look and feel smoother. The complexion also looked brighter and the skin looked younger. When used on a regular basis, Retin A Cream may also ward off certain types of skin cancer.

Retin A Cream has been used successfully by many individuals to help diminish the appearance of freckles, sunspots, and age spots.

Retin A Cream is often used by individuals when they are preparing to have laser resurfacing or facial surgeries. It may also be used after procedures to speed up the recovery time.

What are the side effects of Retin A Cream?

Retin A Cream can make the skin very sensitive to the sun. This will make the skin more likely to get sunburned. Always make sure that a high quality sun screen is applied to the skin before heading outdoors. Excessive drying of the skin may also occur when using Retin A Cream, which can cause peeling of the skin. It is important to note that since excessive drying may take place, Retin A Cream should only be used around the eyes and the mouth once every third night. The skin may also have excessive redness to it.

Excessive cold weather may make the skin irritated when using Retin A Cream. After applying Retin A Cream, an individual might notice a warm feeling where the cream was applied.

Rare side effects of using Retin A Cream include severe allergic reactions. These reactions may include tightness in chest, difficulty breathing, itching, rash, hives, severe redness, swelling of the mouth, lips or tongue, crusting and blistering of the skin. If any of these rare side effects are seen, an individual will want to get medical attention as soon as possible.

For the first two or three weeks of using Retin A Cream, the skin condition will often look worse compared to when first starting the cream. This is normal and the individual should continue using the cream.

Who is Retin A Cream suitable for?

Retin A Cream can be used by individuals that face struggles with acne, fine lines and wrinkles and ageing skin. It should not be used by pregnant woman as Retin A Cream may not be safe for the unborn baby. Those that are breast feeding should also avoid using Retin A Cream. An individual that is allergic to any ingredient in Retin A Cream should also refrain from using the product. Individuals that have sunburned skin should not use the cream until after the sunburn has fully healed.

Retin A Cream has changed my life. My pores used to look awful. They were huge and always clogged with dirt and oil. Well since using Retin A cream, that has all changed. I started on my journey about a year ago. At first, it was not a pretty site. My acne that I had seemed to be getting worse. But my doctor had prepared me for this, so I was not shocked. But within 4 weeks of using the cream, my skin slowly started to look better. The pores were cleaned out and the acne was not as pronounced. I finally feel good about my face and I owe it all to Retin A Cream. It is seriously like a miracle cream for me. For years I have dreamed about having a clear complexion that is fresh and young looking. I finally have that and I am not going to trade it for the world. I urge you to ask your doctor about this cream because it really can do wonders for the skin.

I use Retin A Cream daily for my skin. I have excessively oily skin, and I have seen a huge improvement in how oily my skin is. I started using it every other day when I was first prescribed it, but now I am able to use it daily. I start by applying it to a clean, dry face. I only use a very small dab as a little goes a long ways. And I highly recommend washing the hands after applying as you do not want to get this into the eyes. I did experience some drying of the skin at first but I was applying way to much to the skin . I have learned that less is more when it comes to Retin A Cream.

My skin is aging and I want to do something about it. I really do not want to have any procedures done at this time, so I wonder if Retin A Cream would be something for me to use. I like the idea of it speeding up cell turnover, as well as boosting the collagen production. I believe that I will be looking into this soon, seeing if my dermatologist can prescribe it for me.

I have been using Retin A Cream for about 4 months now. I agree that the first month, my acne got worse. I was mortified when I woke up one morning and there was way more acne then what I had started with. I immediately called my dermatologist who reassured me this was normal and it was just my skin getting used to the product and expelling all the junk that clogged my pores. I kept using it and within the next few weeks, I noticed a huge improvement. I am so happy now with my skin. I do not have the acne that I once did, and I am actually able to wear so much less makeup now. Most days I just wear a light bronzer. I am pleased with what Retin A Cream did for me and I am sure that if you suffer from acne, you will be pleased as well with this miracle treatment.

Definitely recommend Retin-A Tretinoin cream for aging skin, firstly recommend to use low-tretinoin consistency 0.025% and after go deeper with 0.05% and 0.1% creams and gels. My skin became more youthful, without pigmentation, brighter, wrinkles and fine lines became less visible and its only within first 2 months of usage, i’m pretty impressed! Thanks Retin-A! Will use it all my life, would recommend it to everyone who have signs of aging, wrinkles, color fading, discoloration etc problems. My doctors say that they dont prescribe Retin-A. So I got it without doc (thanks google). Hope this helps! Constance.

I was using Retin-A .05% for 20 years after a dermatologist told me I needed it for my sun damaged skin. I never looked back. Until I could no longer find it! J&J used to make it here in Aust. Now it has vanished. And my skin is a mess again. Where can I buy it please?

Retin-A DAMAGED by eye area. I have under eye bags and wrinkles, and Retin-A burned and made them worse! I have tried everything – hyaluronic and retinol serums, oils, eye creams – you name it! Nothing made a difference.

So I tried several products on Amazon, and the one that worked the best was the Somaluxe Renewal Serum because it restored hydration, plumped up the area and smoothed out the texture. I’m happy to report that I think I’ve found the product that has helped my tired eyes. Good luck to you as well!
