What can I Expect
Following your LaseMD Ultra treatment, anticipate an immediate enhancement in your skin’s brightness and smoothness. The fractionated technology employed by LaseMD Ultra significantly curtails downtime compared to more invasive, non-fractionated laser treatments. Post-treatment, your skin may exhibit a sunburn-like appearance, with minor redness and swelling that typically subsides within a couple of days. You’re free to resume your regular activities, though we recommend keeping strenuous physical activity to a minimum for the first few days. Makeup can be applied as early as the day after your treatment.
In the subsequent five to six days, your skin may feel somewhat dry and taut, akin to the sensation of a mild sunburn. You may also notice a dry, sandpaper-like texture to your skin. This is a normal part of the skin renewal process, as the laser’s microchannels encourage your skin to shed its damaged outer layers.
