What is a treatment that will help an individual get rid of stretch marks?

Should an individual want to know how to get rid of stretch marks, they can look into fractional laser treatments. Fractional laser treatments are a non-invasive method used in which a device delivers a laser beam to the skin. This laser beam will be divided into thousands of microscopic treatment zones. The skin will be targeted a fraction at a time. This treatment can be used on any part of the body, and will target both the dermis and the epidermis.

Before the Fractional laser treatment, an individual will have before photos taken. Jewelry will be removed and the skin will be washed. An anesthetic cream will be applied to the skin and will be allowed to soak in for 45 minutes to an hour. The cream will then be washed off, and a gliding gel will be applied to treatment area. The gliding gel will lubricate the skin for the device to glide across the skin. A cooling machine, called a Zimmer machine, will be used to alleviate any discomfort. The treatment time will depend on how large of an area is being treated. The gliding gel will be washed off after the procedure.

After the fractional laser treatment, skin may experience a sun burnt sensation for an hour or so post treatment. The skin will remain pinkish in color for 3 to 5 days. Within 2 to 3 days, swelling will subside. New skin will develop within 24 hours, leaving the old skin to flake off. A good skin moisturizer can help to alleviate this issue. This treatment is well tolerated by many individuals. Most likely a patient will be able to return to work immediately after a procedure, or the following day. The most severe side effects include swelling for up to a week after the treatment, and excessive peeling and scaling of the skin that crusts over.

How will I know if I am a good candidate for fractional laser treatment?

If you want to know how to get rid of stretch marks, one of the best solutions to look into is fractional laser treatment. This treatment works well on many skin types, including those that have very light or very dark skin. This treatment is FDA approved and can help to improve an individual’s skin appearance while having little to no downtime.

I have had the fractional laser treatment done on my scarring I had on my skin. I did not know that fractional laser could be used for getting rid of stretch marks. But let me say that the fractional laser treatment was very nice to do. It did not really hurt one bit and the whole process was a breeze to complete. I would recommend having it done, and if it works well for stretch marks, then it will be a nice treatment to do.

I would love to be able to learn more on how to get rid of stretch marks. I have some on my stomach that I really dread. Granted, they have come from my three daughters, so it does make it worth while. But they are still super ugly to look at. Mine have faded away but they are still there. I would love to see if I can have the fractional laser treatment done. We live close to a beach and in the summer I spend a lot of time at the beach. I would just feel better about myself if I could have the stretch marks removed.

Stretch marks are a thing that has plagued me for a while. I have had them on my tummy, my thighs and my upper arms. I have gained and lost a lot of weight and now after losing 100 pounds, I am ready to learn how to get rid of stretch marks. I know that there are many different options out there but I do not want to spend a lot of time or money on the stretch marks. I would also like the procedure to be a fairly simple one. I think that the creams on the market these days are a waste of time and money. I would have to say that I would be interested in fractional laser treatments. Does anyone know if I do decide to get all 3 parts of my body done (upper arms, thighs and tummy), can I have the procedure done all at the same time? Or is it best for me to have each area done separately? I am looking forward to getting on with my life and getting out of my fat stage. Getting rid of these stretch marks would allow me to do that.

Great article on how to get rid of stretch marks. I have some ugly stretch marks on my thighs. I assumed that I would have to live with them til they faded completely. I never knew that one method on how to get rid of stretch marks was fractional laser treatments. This treatment sounds like it is a fairly good procedure to do. I will be sure to check more into it and see if my doctor offers it.

I have had my fair share of stretch marks. I have 6 kids, and all of them gave me marks to remember their pregnancy by them. Some on my stomach, some on my breasts, some on my thighs. While they do not bother me as much as they bother others, I still do not like them. I just feel that my husband has to wonder what I have done to my body sometimes. Knowing how to get rid of stretch marks is one thing, but doing something about it is another. I am going to make an appointment with my doctor to see if fractional laser treatment is right for me. I do hope that it is as I like the fact there there is no downtime and this would allow me time with all 6 of my kiddos.
