How to get rid of Pimple Scars

Best Pimple Scar Treatments: Fractional Laser, Dermal Fillers or Skin Needling

Everyday many question how to get rid of pimple scars. Pimple scars are formed when a pore swells, which will cause a break in the follicle wall. If the lesion is very deep, it will be filled with infected material, which will then infect healthy skin tissue. New collagen will be formed, which helps to repair the skin. The skin will then form a scar. If too much collagen is formed, a raised pimple scar will be formed, which is called a keloid scar.

Great article on how to get rid of pimple scars. I myself have some that I would love to be able to get rid of. Acne or pimples are just awful enough to have and then to have to live with the scarring is miserable as well. I am not sure which one is worse. I think it is great that there are so many different ways to successfully get rid of pimple scars. I look forward learning more about fractional laser treatments, dermal fillers and skin needling. I have never heard of the skin needling, and it sort of sounds interesting to me. I may try to have that option done as I need a fix for this face. I never thought that I would find a way on how to get rid of pimple scars but it looks like there really are several different ways.

Pimple scars are something that my best friend suffers from. She has had the scars for several years now, right after her acne started to clear up and then got worse again. It has made her very self conscious about the way that she looks. Which is such a shame because she is a wonderful person, inside and out. People are so mean to her. She does have lots of scars on her cheeks. Hers are the icepick kind, that look like someone stabbed her multiple times with an icepick. I want to know which of these options would be good for this kind of scarring? I see that dermal fillers are good for the boxcar and the rolling scars. Would one of these treatments be more beneficial to her than others based on the type of scar that she has? Neither of us has any experience with how to get rid of pimple scars, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to learning more about each treatment and surprising my friend with the information so we can get her to feeling better about herself!

Pimple scars were something that used to plague me. I was broke out terribly in my younger teenage years. And I was not too bright and I picked at the acne, hoping it would make the pimples go away sooner. But it only left me with huge pockets on my face that have never went away. I finally had enough one day after looking in the mirror and went to see my dermatologist. She decided that dermal fillers were an option for me. I have had it done, and while there was a sensation when my scars were injected, it was not really that bad. Ice helped to control the pain, and I was able to return to work right away as well, which really pleased me. I must say that it was eight months ago that I had the dermal fillers injected and I still look good and feel good.

I have suffered with acne all my life and would love to learn more on how to get rid of these pimple scars. This article made me see there are some options out there for me. I always assumed that once you had a pimple scar, it was there for good. I guess I should stop assuming. I think that I will do some more research on the fractional laser treatment. It sounds like the best treatment for me based on what I have read here. I will do some research and then talk to my local dermatologist to see if this treatment is right for me or not. Wish me luck!
